The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in locating 19-year-old Hollynn Snapp, who has been reported missing by her family. On Sunday, October 22, 2023, Hollynn’s family filed a missing persons report, they last spoke with her on October 5, 2023
Layla Santanello went missing on June 25, 2023. According to her family, Layla was struggling with addiction at the time of her disappearance Two weeks before her last sighting, Santanello lost temporary custody of her two-year-old daughter to her mother Jennifer Santanello.
Sara Gail Ebersole, 26, last seen on March 2, 2023 with the two other people located at 17980 N. Highway 441 — and hasn’t been seen since, deputies said. She was described as being 5 feet, 1 inch tall and 120 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair.
Madalina was last seen at her home on November 23, but her parents took until December 15 to report her missing to a resource officer at her school, Bailey Middle School.Mother and step Father both adults denied knowledge of Madalina’s whereabouts.
Summer was reported missing to the Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office at approximately 6:30 p.m. on June 15, 2021. Hawkins County investigators immediately began working the case. Shortly after that, an Endangered Child Alert was issued.
2019: Vanessa Morales

Shelbey Jean Thornburgh was a 20-year-old aspiring model from Texas who moved to Houston with hopes of building a better life.Tragically, on November 4, 2015, Shelbey was found murdered in her Houston apartment. Her throat had been slashed, and the case remains unsolved
DeOrr went missing on July 10, 2015, from Timber Creek Campground near Leadore while camping with his father, mother, great-grandfather and a family friend. Despite years of investigation, no trace of the child has been found.
June 4, 2010: Kyron, a second grader at Skyline Elementary School in Portland, Oregon, was last seen near his classroom after attending a science fair. School revealed that Kyron was “absent.” Kyron is reported missing. An intensive search begins on the ground and in the air.
Maura Murray was a 21-year-old nursing student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst when she disappeared on February 9, 2004. Her case remains unsolved and has garnered significant public interest. Check out detailed timeline of events.
Paula, 25 years old at the time, from Valdosta, Georgia. When she failed to show up for work which was a rare occurrence, her co-workers grew concerned. Her 1998 Chevy Blazer was in the parking lot, but there was no sign of Paula or her 3-year-old son, Brandon.
JonBenet Ramsey was 6 years old when she was reported missing from her home in the 700 block of 15th Street on Dec. 26, 1996. She was later found dead in the house, and an autopsy revealed the cause of her death as strangulation. LE have followed up on every lead but no Arrest.
May 27, 1984 (Memorial Day weekend Sunday): 8-year-old Christy Luna leaves her home in Greenacres, Florida (Palm Beach County), barefoot and wearing a turquoise bodysuit. She is seen entering and exiting
the store, waving to a friend, and heading home. She never returns.
Kevin Art Verville Jr. was last seen on July 1, 1980, in Oceanside, California. At the time, his family was living in the Sterling Homes apartment complex, located in the 900 block of Bougainville Street, a housing area designated for military families stationed at nearby Camp Pendleton.

Missing and Murdered Indigenous People
Missing and Murdered Indigenous People (MMIP) refers to the ongoing crisis involving the disproportionate rates of violence, disappearances, and homicides affecting Native American, Alaska Native, and Indigenous communities across the United States and Canada. Many cases remain unsolved or receive limited media coverage, while families and tribal communities continue advocating for justice, accountability, and improved law enforcement response.
Emily Pike, 14, was reported missing from a Mesa group home in January 2025. Emily’s remains were found dismembered, and cause of death was ruled as “homicidal violence.” No suspects have been identified. Emily’s murder sparked national attention and raised serious concerns.
Faith Hedgepeth Faith Hedgepeth was a 19-year-old member of the Lumbee Tribe from North Carolina. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and studied biology and education. Hedgepeth lived with roommate Karena Rosario at the Hawthorne at the View apartment complex
Savanna LaFontaine-Greywind was a 22-year-old member of the Spirit Lake Nation. She lived in Fargo, North Dakota with her boyfriend Ashton Matheny. At the time of her disappearance, she was eight months pregnant with her first child.
Hanna Harris
Hanna Harris was a 21-year-old member of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe. She lived on the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation in Montana. Her case later became one of the defining cases in the Missing and Murdered Indigenous
Women movement.
