MURDER OF SADE ROBINSON

Maxwell Anderson

Maxwell Anderson grew up in suburban Waukesha County and graduated from Pewaukee High School in 2009. His involvement with the law began early—as a teenager, he was repeatedly caught underage drinking, received multiple citations for property damage, and was known to flee from police, leading to charges for obstructing an officer.

As an adult, Anderson lived in Milwaukee, where he worked various nightlife jobs, including roles as a bartender and security guard. He held positions at several well-known venues in the city, including The Rave and Victor’s Nightclub, placing him in environments marked by late hours and transient interactions. Despite appearing outwardly sociable, court records and witness accounts would later paint a picture of a man with a long, troubled history beneath the surface.

Detective Ryan Bergeman reviewed the MCTS video showing the Defendant on the MCTS bus. The Defendant boards the bus and pays his bus fare in cash. He then rides that MCTS bus south on 35th Street and gets off the bus at approximately 8:35am near S. 35 Street and W. Lakefield Drive on Milwaukee's south side. It should be noted there is not a bus stop at this location, and the Defendant asked the bus driver to let him off there. The Defendant then departs the bus and begins to walk northbound. It should further be noted it is approximately an 8 minute walk from that location to the Defendant's residence, and this would be the most logical place to depart the bus to walk to the Defendant's home.
