On Thursday, July 10, 2025, at approximately 2:30 p.m., officers from the Auburn Police Department responded to the 1281 Samantha Court in reference to a welfare check. When officers arrived on scene, they entered the residence and located a deceased adult female and a deceased juvenile female. Officers were additionally notified of a three-year-old male juvenile who was missing from the residence.

Aaron Dontay Williams, the husband of the deceased Tyeisha Williams and father of the missing child, was not at the residence when officers arrived. Police believe that the missing child may be with the father, traveling in a gray 2010 Honda Accord displaying Alabama tag 43A224A.

The missing child is three-year-old black male, Jibreel Harun. An Amber Alert has been issued as the child is believed to be in imminent danger.
The suspect, Aaron Dontay Williams, is described as a 41-year-old Black male with a medium skin complexion. He is 6’1” and weighs approximately 240 pounds.
Police believe that the missing child may be with the father, traveling in a gray 2010 Honda Accord displaying Alabama tag 43A224A.

  Arrest Time: 4:28 PM
  Victim: Garard Smith, shot in the leg; sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
  Charge: Williams is identified by the victim and arrested by police. He is charged with attempted murder.

June 10, 2025

• A custody hearing is held between Lence Wright (biological father) and Tyeisha Williams (mother/guardian).
• The court awards full custody of 13-year-old Zynniya Wright to Tyeisha Williams. This legal action places Zynniya under the care of Tyeisha, who is later found deceased on July 10. Source

2:30 PM PDT / 4:30 PM CDT

• Welfare check conducted at a residence at 1281  Samantha Court, Auburn.
• Officers discover two deceased individuals:
• An adult woman (believed to be Williams’ wife)
• A juvenile girl (believed to be her daughter)
• Authorities confirm that Jibreel Harun is missing, and suspect Aaron Dontay Williams has fled with the child.
• Estimated time of death is within the past 48 hours.

• A statewide AMBER Alert is issued for Jibreel Harun , declared to be in imminent danger.
• Williams is named the suspect in the double homicide and is believed to have abducted Jibreel.
