• Lori Paige’s mother relinquishes custody of the then-11-year-old girl to her father, Andrew Wiley. From this point on, Wiley becomes Paige’s sole custodian. “In both households, she was left alone for hours at a time with no supervision and that this occurred from a very young age,”

May 2023

• May 8, 2023: Lori Paige reported missing (TPD Case #23-81621). Last seen at Griffin Middle School. Found the next day in an abandoned apartment at 1001 Ocala Rd.
• May 25, 2023: Maranda White (mother) requests a welfare check. Later visits Lori and has an intense argument. Lori subsequently expresses feelings of worthlessness and claims her mother does not love her.

June 1, 2023

• 12:01 PM: Wiley’s phone searches for directions to locations in Alabama and Georgia.
• 12:17 PM – 12:23 PM: Searches include:
• “bad neighborhood Tallahassee Florida”
• “Apalachicola National Forest dead body”
• “where do police look to find missing kids”
• Evening/Night: Unknown time – murder is believed to have occurred this day.

June 2, 2023

• 4:34 AM: Wiley’s phone leaves the residence, traveling through: Frenchtown area → East Tallahassee → Monticello, FL → Boston Highway, GA.
• 6:28 AM: Wiley is north of the Florida-Georgia line.
• 6:53 AM – 7:01 AM: Device stops providing location data; next location ping at 7:01 AM in a field near Mitchell Road (suspected body dump site).
• 7:17 AM: Phone returns south via Boston Highway into Florida.
• 8:28 AM: Vehicle seen by License Plate Reader (LPR) at I-10 and North Monroe.
• 9:30 AM – 10:14 AM: Phone travels multiple roads near the residence. LPR hit on 7th Ave at 9:57 AM.
• 2:56 PM: Wiley calls Priceline (55 seconds).
• 3:30 PM: Wiley purchases a one-way plane ticket to San Juan, Puerto Rico.
• 4:00 PM: Phone departs residence heading to Jacksonville Airport.
• 6:59 PM – 7:20 PM: Phone in Jacksonville Airport area.
• 9:45 PM: Returns to Tallahassee.
• 10:45 PM: Leaves for work.
• 11:00 PM: Andrew Wiley (father) leaves for work, leaving Lori alone at their home (1229 Continental Court). She is last seen watching television.

June 3, 2023

• 12:21 AM: Phone consistent with location of Wiley’s workplace.
• 8:21–8:37 AM: Leaves work, pings consistent with Monticello.
• 11:00 AM: Returns home; Lori is reported missing.
• 11:15 AM: Wiley calls police to report Lori missing. Wiley explained he left for work on June 2nd, 2023, around 11PM and returned home on June 3rd, 2023, at 10AM. Wiley left Paige in the residence watching television prior to going to work. Wiley advised Paige was safe and uninjured. Wiley said he does not know what Paige is wearing but knows she took her multicolored (rainbow style) backpack. He states that Lori was last seen near Continental Court and Ocala Road in Tallahassee, Florida.
  
• investigators treat the case as a likely voluntary runaway, citing previous behavior.
• According to TPD, Paige owned a cellphone but did not have it with her when she was last seen. Officials have shared that her small digital footprint has made it more difficult to retrace her steps. 

June 5, 2023:

• Authorities pursue numerous leads across state lines, but Lori remains missing.
• Friend Diamond Ivey confirms she hasn’t heard from Lori since school ended.

June 7, 2023

• Detectives spoke to a classmate who rides the bus with Lori Paige and lives close by advised that he does not know where she is, but that she is “still around” the area.
• Investigators speak to schoolmates and search bus routes, parks, apartment complexes.

June 9, 2023

• Officers begin canvassing, check known runaway locations, and reach out to friends (e.g., Diamond Ivey).

June 12, 2023

• Detectives asked school to send Lori Paige’s flyer to all 6th grade parents in case she was staying with a friend and lying to the parent about permission.

June 13, 2023

• Detectives spoke to Andrew Wiley’s girlfriend, Symone Robinson, who is in Louisiana for military training. She advised that Paige does not use social media, but she plays Roblox and watches YouTube a lot.
  

June 16, 2023:

• Dade Street Community Center confirms Lori used to visit but hasn’t been seen since school ended.
• Missing Persons fliers for Lori Paige’s case were posted at these locations.

June 19, 2023:

• Lori’s info is submitted to FDLE MEPIC and Tennessee Clearinghouse. No leads.
• Brooklyn Paige allowed officers into her home to search. Brooklyn advised that Paige really liked her mother’s former boyfriend in Tampa, Maurice Jones. She provided phone numbers for Jones, but Det Drake would not be able to contact him.
• Flyers were distributed to hotels, motels, and extended stay facilities throughout the city. As leads regarding sightings were called into the police department, they were investigated and determined too unsubstantiated.

June 20, 2023

• Nashville Youth Services and the Runaway Bureau advised that they only had record that Paige ran away once but returned quickly thereafter.
• Detectives of the Special Victim’s Unit (SVU) were assigned to conduct surveillance on known associates of Lori Paige. Detectives did not observe any indications that Paige was with family or friends.

July 24, 2023:

• Maranda White provides two Gmail accounts used by Lori. paigelori666@gmail.com and Plori14.lp@gmail.com.
• Google, Inc responded to a search warrant with records from paigelori666@gmail.com. Paige was not communicating with anyone other than her mother over email and had no communication with her since her disappearance. The email had not been accessed after 03/07/2023; however, there were introduction emails from several social media websites to include: Social media usernames are discovered (e.g., “Potato1art”, “potato3140”) and traced, but most are inactive.
• A request was made to Leon County Schools for records related to email, search history, web history, and messaging on the school Chromebook. It was determined that these records were unavailable due to the computer reassignment and resetting.

August 31, 2023:

• A search warrant is executed at Wiley’s residence, allowing detectives to conduct a forensic search of the home.
• Bioluminescent chemical test performed in Wiley’s home to detect blood—no blood evidence found.
• 3 attempts had been made to gather a buccal DNA sample from Maranda White through the Nashville Metro Police Dept. White was reluctant to provide any sample to police.
• Google confirms Lori’s accounts were inactive after March 7, 2023.

August 30, 2023:

• Lori’s dental records are entered into NCIC/FCIC. No matches found.

January 8, 2024:

• Maranda posts “My baby is gone 💔” on Facebook, deletes it shortly after. When questioned, she says she feels in her soul that Lori is dead.

January 31, 2024:

• Detectives interview Andrew Wiley at his new home in Thomasville, GA. Wiley shows no visible concern or emotion during interview.
  
• Detectives observe Lori’s belongings in bags; collect purple Crocs and clothes for evidence.
• Wiley describes past behavioral issues but denies involvement.

February 1, 2024:

• Investigators re-interview neighbors and friends, including Terry Smith and Griffin Middle School teachers.
• A Reddit user “Christmas850” claims Lori was being groomed—traced to a teacher, Christen Ellrich, who heard it as a rumor.

February 2, 2024

• A relative of Lori Paige tells investigators that Wiley had expressed concerns about being treated as a suspect in the case.
• In an interview with police, Wiley claims he cannot recall events from the week before reporting Paige missing.

Dozens of interviews with Lori’s classmates.

Several rumors are reported:

• Lori found dead in a trash bag near the airport.
• Lori complained of physical abuse by her father (e.g., belt “whooping” at bus stop).
• Lori displayed signs of depression, confusion, and reclusiveness.

Feb 5, 2024:

• Detectives interview Lori’s great-grandfather Pearlie Hall and grandmother Brooklyn Paige. Both say they haven’t seen Lori since her disappearance.
• Brooklyn says Maranda tried to medicate Lori unnecessarily.
• Daisy Garcia (godmother) provides text screenshots of hostile exchanges between Maranda and Andrew.

Feb 6, 2024:

• Roblox, Reddit, Snapchat, and Instagram accounts traced and ruled out.
• Andrew Wiley confirmed using “Find My iPhone” app to search for Lori’s iCloud phone after her disappearance.

Feb 7, 2024

• A search warrant was signed for Lori’s Apple iCloud account (lori.paige1@icloud.com)​

Feb 8, 2024:

• Massive grid search begins in Tallahassee—spanning 5 miles around Lori’s last known location.
• Detectives traveled to Tampa to interview Maranda White’s ex-boyfriend Maurice Jones; no new leads

Feb 12, 2024:

• Cadaver dogs searched area from residence to San Luis Park. One area of interest noted by a dog, but no formal alerts.

Feb 13, 2024:

• Dive team searches lake near San Luis Park—no results.

Feb 14, 2024:

• Nationwide alert (Teletype) issued with Lori’s physical description and backpack details.
• TPD receives and debunks another abduction report (not Lori) near Brooklyn Paige’s house.

February 15, 2024:

• 10:05 AM: Detectives visited Goodlettsville Middle Prep in Tennessee. Lori’s records confirmed depression, suicidal thoughts. At Goodlettsville Middle Prep, Lori’s old social worker, Lisa Britt, describes her as:
• Exhibiting signs of severe depression, feelings of worthlessness.
• Obsessive interest in anime.
• Once described herself as “evil,” “lazy,” “hateful.”
• Noted hospitalization at Vanderbilt for suicidal ideation (based on info from Maranda and Latonya White).
• Lisa Britt provides notes; records from Vanderbilt are pending.
• Interviews with prior neighbors of Maranda and Latonya. Lease was terminated due to non-payment in January 2023.
• No residents recall significant issues, and none saw Lori after early 2023.

February 16, 2024

• 2:30 PM: Social worker Lisa Britt confirmed Lori described herself as “evil” and had been hospitalized for mental health issues

February 20, 2024

• 9:00 AM: Andrew Wiley fails to show up for interview; later appears with legal counsel at 2:30 PM.
• Tallahassee Police and Fire departments participate in a grid search at Mission San Luis in an effort to find any clues to Lori Paige, 12, who has been missing for months Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024.

February 23, 2024

• The FBI’s Jacksonville Field Office and the Tallahassee Police Department issued a joint appeal for information regarding the disappearance of 12-year-old Lori Paige. In their announcement, they noted that Lori had ties to or might visit areas in Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee.

February 26, 2024

• Apple iCloud logs reveal “Find My iPhone” was accessed from Wiley’s residence in Thomasville, GA. Subpoena links IP address to Wiley

February 27, 2024

• Tallahassee Police Department (TPD) conducted a dive search at Lake Esther in San Luis Mission Park to locate 12-year-old Lori Paige, who had been missing since June 2023. The operation, assisted by the Leon County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team, followed a comprehensive ground search involving nearly 100 personnel covering over 60 acres the previous week. Despite these extensive efforts, no new evidence was discovered during the lake search.

April 5, 2025

• A prescribed burn clears thick brush in the same area previously searched.
• Human skeletal remains are discovered in a wooded area off Mitchell Pond Road, Thomas County, Georgia. The location was within 30 meters of where Wiley’s cell phone had pinged on June 1, 2023
• The remains are sent to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for analysis.

April 11, 2025

• FDLE confirms through DNA analysis that the remains are those of 12-year-old Lori Paige.
• The analysis also confirms that Lori’s blood was found on the passenger-side carpet of Wiley’s vehicle.
• The Tallahassee Police Department announces the arrest of Andrew Wiley, Lori’s father. Wiley is charged with Second Degree Murder​ in connection with Lori’s death.
• Authorities state that Wiley betrayed the trust of his daughter and the community.

Investigators switched their focus to Wiley and began searching a remote, brush-covered area of Thomas County, Georgia, known locally as a plantation. Several searches yielded no results until a search April 5, after a prescribed burn cleared some of the underbrush, allowed a dog from the North Florida Search Team, Kairos, to locate her remains

April 12, 2025 

• Andrew Wiley made his initial court appearance on Saturday, less than 24 hours after his arrest in connection with the disappearance and death of his 12-year-old daughter, Lori Paige. Wiley appears via video at a Leon County Court bond hearing.
• When asked whether he needed legal representation, Wiley confirmed he did, and the judge appointed a public defender to represent him.
• State Attorney Jack Campbell requests: No bond. A no-contact order with family members Judge Anthony Miller approves both requests.
• Wiley is ordered to remain in custody without bond.

April 14, 2025
