Madeline Soto Music School Teacher Arrested

A music teacher at Hunter’s Creek Middle School in Orange County, Florida, has been arrested on federal charges for coercion and enticement of a minor. Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) identified the teacher as, also known as Brett Bonini. According to federal court documents, Bonini contacted two 8-year-old boys in Maryland through Discord, a messaging app commonly used by gamers. Federal Affidavit
Who is Brett Bonini:
Brett Bonini is a 2023 Rollins College graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. He previously worked as a music teacher specializing in vocal performance, piano performance, choral conducting, and music arranging. Bonini was the Director of Choral Activities at Hunter’s Creek Middle School and also provided private piano and voice lessons from his studio. He was a Registered vendor for the School District of Osceola County.

Evidence Gathered by Authorities
- FBI investigators linked Bonini to a Discord account (“adrianbro2#0”) used to communicate with children.
- He admitted to deleting his Discord account because he felt “disgusted with himself.”
- He confirmed using video chat and live messaging to interact with minors.
- He targeted children because they were “easier to talk to” and he enjoyed the “control aspect” of the interactions.
- He used an iMac desktop to communicate with victims.
Bonini’s Statement to Investigators
Bonini allegedly told federal agents:
- “I fell into temptation that I should not have. I’m not a sick individual; I made a mistake.”
- “I’m not even gay.”
Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) Statement:
“While the district does not comment on employee matters, Hunter’s Creek Middle School families were notified that an employee was placed on administrative leave after an arrest was reported. The individual will not return to campus during the investigation.”

A cyber tip led investigators to Regan, and on his devices, they found sexually explicit images of children, including “females engaged in sexual activity with an adult male inside of a vehicle.
June 24, 2024: A subsequent review of Regan’s social media applications by law enforcement revealed that on June 24, 2024, Regan had distributed two videos of CSAM.
On October 17, 2024, Homeland Security Investigations executed a search warrant at Regan’s home, where it located an image of child sexual abuse material on his phone. Regan told law enforcement that he was employed at a middle school in Orlando and taught chess and music lessons at a Boys & Girls Club.
“The DOJ said Regan admitted to agents that he had sent and received child sexual abuse material using an online social media platform. Investigators said Regan holds a position of public trust with regular access to children.
